Whatever shenanigans you get into, you'll remember those times with much more fondness than the hours spent studying at a desk.
Time is something that most likely, you have never had to manage like you will in college. In high school, everything is planned for the entire day, you get home and you do your homework. Make a list and put the more important things near the top. When you engage in an activity, think about whether or not it is the most important thing to do. If you aren't spending enough time with homework then allocate some more towards your studies. Conversely, Make sure that you are well balanced. Have friends, and spend time unwinding to keep yourself from getting overly stressed.
This can be really difficult for new college students. The first semester, without the rule of parents over you, it can be easy to play with friends, then pull an all-nighter doing homework. This is not recommended even in the slightest. Your first semester will have plenty of parties and fun but you will regret not getting good sleep. It can be a struggle but the effects of good sleep to your body are unending. You will stay healthy, your brain will run better, and you will overall feel better about how things are going.

Go to karaoke, or organize your own. The Karaoke nights at the local watering hole can be ridiculously fun, and you can also set up your own karaoke session with your friends. You'll be surprised how much you get into belting out the words to some Rhianna song. Throw a surprise birthday party. Organizing the party will be the best part, but it could be even more interesting to see how many dozens of people you can cram into a tiny dorm room for the big surprise.
Organize a cornhole tournament. Cornhole is one of those games everyone is capable of getting into, so plan an elaborate competition, playoff-style. Find or make a cheap trophy, and assign one of your funniest friends to be the announcer. Plan an air guitar competition. You and your friends get to be rock stars for a night, and the winner gets bragging rights for weeks. So get out up off of your dorm room bed, and take your college experience to the next level. Just stay away from that creepy cabin in the woods.
